LUMATRIANS A BASIC KNOWLEDGE

The word Drika translates from the Lumatrian language to mean common .Drika are the most common of the breeds of Lumatrians. The Drika are hard workers taking everything they do seriously. They are generally known for their charisma and charm. In any case of conflict a Drika will use the force of their will to protect others. Though low in power when it comes to basic arcane magic their power of will is one of the highest.

Drika like other lumatrians have a hierarchy within themselves. Their hierarchy is based upon age and experience. The older the Drika he higher they are ranked in the hierarchy. Since Drika believe that age not only equals power but wisdom and knowledge for their race the drain will normally use markers of rank tattooed on their cheeks and along their muzzle to denote every hundred years of age and only a tribe elder or a pack mother can give one such tattoo’s.

Most Drika will pass knowledge on to the next generation by showing rather than telling. Knowledge of skills for the Drika is very important whether it be knowledge of forestry or of basic child care all knowledge must be kept and cherished.

Drika are hands on with their work and prefer to keep themselves busy with anything they do. It is rare to see a Drika relax and do nothing. If a Drika isn’t working while they are awake they are generally playing some sort of game.

They love to be surrounded by others and a very sociable. In nature Drika can be dominant or submissive but in general are very gentle. Drika are good caregivers and have a tendency to look to the needs of others first even if the other is not a member of their race.
