LUMATRIANS A BASIC KNOWLEDGE

        The word Bratteir (pronounced BRAY-T-EAR) translates from the Lumatrian language to mean hunter or warrior. Bratteir are generally built highly muscled so they are easily distinguished from the other two breeds of Lumatrian. Even as cubs Bratteir can be distinguished from Drika because of their larger size and more muscular physic. In any case of conflict with the tribe the Bratteir are the first line of defense

        Bratteir’s natural magical abilities are more geared towards hunting and combat than any other form but they do have healing abilities of their own so that they can tend to themselves on the hunt or battle field. The Bratteiri take great pride in their hunting ability and for certain hunts they must take their prey alive so make great use of capture and immobilization charms.

        Bratteir are extremely dominant as well as very aggressive compared to the other breeds of Lumatrians. They have a hierarchy of their own outside that of the tribes the older and more experienced the Bratteir the higher their rank. Bratteir will mark their age with tattoos on their cheeks and along their muzzle such tattoos can only be given by a tribal elder or a Gontrada. Bratteir also get tattoos along their arms and legs for the battles they have won. These tattoos are given to them by the leader of the Bratteiri.
