LUMATRIANS A BASIC KNOWLEDGE

Lumatrian tribal hierarchy is based in breed, subtype and age. Lumatrians are a tribal culture and see to the needs of the tribe before their own. As far as needs go it is tribe then breed then pack then family and finally self. Lumatrians also have a strong pack mentality and will not back down from a threat towards their pack each Lumatrian is responsible for the care of their tribe in their own way. 

Each breed has its place in the hierarchy starting with the Drika then the Bratteir then to the Gontrada. Breed ranking is based on the rarity of the breed any breed can give birth to any other breed and when a breed that is lower in ranking births a member of a breed higher in ranking the dame is given the same rights and privileges of a member of that breed.

Within each breed each subtype has its place in the hierarchy starting with base this is the breed without any subtype then there are Maultri which are rarer followed by Orbanta which are extremely rare. Subtype ranking is also based in the rarity of the subtype. Any subtype can give birth to any other subtype. The dame of a rare subtype is given the same privileges and honor of that subtype.

Lumatrians use tattoos to mark their ranking in the tribe and breed. All lumatrians will get tattoos on their cheeks and muzzle to signify their age. Other each breed of Lumatrian will get tattoos in a separate place as well to signify experience. Along with their breed a Lumatrians age and experience marks their place in the hierarchy of the tribe.

​A tribe of lumatrians will normally be formed by a small group of lumatrians made up of Brattier and Drika occasionally a Gontrada will also be in that group. As the tribe grows some of the tribe members may move off to make tribes of their own but generally a tribe will just spread the outer boundaries of their village.
